Compare the total for the same room, meal plan and cancellation deadline. A lower nightly price may leave local charges payable at the property.

Booking confirmation & arrival

Keep the Expedia itinerary and supplier confirmation together. Use Trips and the Help Center for the booked service, rather than treating a flight, hotel and activity in a package as one identical reservation.

Cancellations & refunds

Expedia’s terms make changes and cancellation subject to the supplier’s Rules and Restrictions. Some properties do not allow changes after booking. Pay Later does not remove a cancellation or no-show charge.

Refunds

Refunds go to the original payment method and are made by the party that collected payment. If a hotel charged you directly, its refund process matters. Expedia’s own fees are not refundable unless stated otherwise.

Use Copy Code above, then follow these steps at the store.

  1. Add eligible products or choose your booking, then proceed to checkout.
  2. Where checkout provides a promotional-code field, paste the code exactly as copied. Use the store’s app for app-only coupons.
  3. Follow the store’s instructions to apply the code, then review the total and any exclusions before paying.

Does Pay Later mean free cancellation?

No. A property can charge cancellation or no-show fees under the rules attached to that rate.

Who pays my refund?

The party that took the original payment processes it back to the original payment method.

Do all rooms share one cancellation policy?

No. Compare the specific rate and room restrictions, even when the hotel name is the same.

Does copying a code open the store?

The note below “Copy Code” tells you whether the store also opens in a new tab. If its link is unavailable, the button only reveals and copies the code. Pressing Copy Code again also opens the store in a new tab.
