Booking confirmation & arrival
Manage Reservations uses the confirmation number and the guest’s last name. Third-party booking references can differ from the IHG reservation number; contact the hotel if you need the IHG-specific number. Use the property’s own arrival instructions.
Cancellations & refunds
Cancellation depends on the hotel and rate booked. Reward Nights also have property-specific deadlines; do not apply a deadline from one IHG hotel to another or assume a prepaid rate is flexible.
Refunds
When a Reward Night is cancelled within its applicable conditions and hotel deadline, IHG says the points return immediately; arrival-day cancellations can need review. For Points & Cash bookings, purchased points also return as points, while the cash used to buy them is non-refundable. Cash-rate refunds follow the property’s terms.
Using your IHG Hotels & Resorts coupon code

Store offers and coupons have separate conditions. Their terms explain any limits on combining them.
Questions before you book
Why does my agency reference not work with IHG?
A third-party seller may issue its own reference. The hotel can provide the IHG-specific confirmation number.
Will Points & Cash cancellation refund the cash?
Eligible cancellation returns the points to the account; the cost of points purchased for the booking is non-refundable.
Are cancellation deadlines the same at every IHG hotel?
No. The hotel and individual rate set the conditions, including for Reward Nights.
Does copying a code open the store?
Copy Code saves the code to your clipboard, keeps a coupon page in a new tab and opens the store in the original tab.
Payment options
Read whether the selected rate charges in advance or requires a guarantee. Points & Cash purchases points to complete a Reward Night; it is not simply a refundable cash deposit toward a room.
