Access & activation
Access is digital through the store admin. Adding products, configuring payments and preparing the storefront are setup tasks; buying a subscription does not complete them automatically.
Cancellations & refunds
The store owner can cancel the plan in Settings and Plan. A trial without a selected paid plan can freeze without a subscription charge; selecting a plan creates separate billing obligations. Review app and domain renewals as well.
Refunds
Plan fees are generally non-refundable. Shopify’s support-review windows run from the invoice issue date: seven days for monthly plans, or 30 days for annual plans and the first invoice after a trial. Meeting a window does not guarantee approval. The owner or a user with billing permission should send the invoice details; third-party app refunds go to the app developer.
Using your Shopify coupon code
Use Copy Code above, then follow these steps at the store.
- Add eligible products or choose your booking, then proceed to checkout.
- Where checkout provides a promotional-code field, paste the code exactly as copied. Use the store’s app for app-only coupons.
- Follow the store’s instructions to apply the code, then review the total and any exclusions before paying.
Store offers and coupons have separate conditions. Their terms explain any limits on combining them.
Frequently asked questions
Will a Shopify plan coupon discount purchases at another shop?
No. Individual merchants set their own retail discounts; a Shopify subscription offer concerns the platform account.
Is hosting included?
Shopify plans include hosting for the storefront, while a custom domain and other paid additions may have separate charges.
Does closing the store stop every external bill?
Review independently billed apps and domain renewals separately; the store-plan cancellation does not settle every external subscription.
Does copying a code open the store?
The note below “Copy Code” tells you whether the store also opens in a new tab. If its link is unavailable, the button only reveals and copies the code. Pressing Copy Code again also opens the store in a new tab.
Payment options
Compare monthly versus annual billing and the renewal amount. Domains, paid themes, apps and payment-processing charges can be separate from the plan subscription.
